god, that's hard

maybe make wasd to move and a little recoil

overall, sick man! :)

Im getting the error for the shared array buffer. I think you need to select the experimental check box on itch.

Sorry for inconvenience, you probably tried to play it when I updated the game. Unlucky timing

Yup it's working fine now, I like the concept I think it would be cool to add a hold to charge upgrade. ( it would also give a movement boost with the charged shot)

You move by firing, which becomes very awkward (especially on a laptop mouse). I'd prefer that movement be separated out from firing.

Also, your exit button is freezing the game forever on being clicked.

I want more, by the way.

Glad you enjoyed, I guess to fix the firing I can add an upgrade which separates movement and shooting. And to fix the exit problem I will just remove that button so that your only option is to keep playing. I would also like thoughts on balancing, is it too easy or too hard? Please let me know

The movement system makes it harder than expected, especially if your player isn't familiar with Asteroids the game. Having a basic tutorial graphic for the first minute or so showing the controls and expected action on those controls could help. Otherwise, it plays like an arcade game: easy to start, hard to actually beat.

Would it be enough to make so that shooting can be done with space to make so that playing with laptop mouse is more or less the same as just amouse?

For how much time we have left, that should work. Past the jam, it'd probably be better to use the arrow keys/WASD to move, move the mouse to aim, and click to shoot.
